## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree.
 * At least three years of experience in IT asset management, software asset management, hardware asset management, IT operations, or a closely related area.
 * At least two years of experience managing employees, teams, or distributed IT resources.
 * Hands-on experience managing hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle.
 * Strong knowledge of software licensing models, license agreements, audits, and compliance requirements.
 * Experience creating and executing strategic IT asset-management processes.
 * Understanding of IT Service Management practices and processes.
 * Experience maintaining technology asset inventories, databases, reporting, and documentation.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with a high level of accuracy.
 * Strong vendor-management, contract-review, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
 * Strong written, verbal, organizational, and stakeholder-communication skills.
 * Ability to work onsite in the San Francisco Bay Area and travel approximately 30%.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with IT asset-management or software asset-management platforms.
 * Familiarity with ITSM, configuration-management databases, and procurement systems.
 * Experience supporting asset-management programs across multiple offices or business units.
 * ITAM, SAM, ITIL, or related professional certification.
 * Experience identifying technology cost-saving and license-optimization opportunities.

Qualified candidates should have a balanced combination of hands-on IT asset-management experience, people leadership, vendor and contract management, software-license knowledge, and strong business judgment.
