## About the Role

* 12+ years of experience in network administration or related field.
 * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience).
 * Experience with enterprise network technologies (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls).
 * Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
 * Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Security+ depending on level).
 * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
 * Ability to work in distributed and high-availability environments.
 * Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance.

Desired:

 * Experience supporting DoD or Navy network environments.
 * Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
 * Experience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems.
 * Active Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance preferred.

Education:

## Description

The Network Administrator V supports the Navy by administering, securing, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures network availability, performance, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements., * Provide expert-level leadership for enterprise network architecture, design, and operations.

 * Oversee large-scale network environments including LAN/WAN, boundary systems, and secure enclaves.
 * Lead implementation of advanced network security controls in alignment with RMF, STIGs, and DoD directives.
 * Direct troubleshooting and resolution of complex network issues across distributed environments.
 * Drive network optimization, scalability, and modernization initiatives.
 * Mentor senior staff and advise leadership on network strategy and engineering decisions.
 * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or SCI clearance.
