An opportunity is available for a hands-on Software Design Engineer II to build and evolve next-generation systems and AI-powered engineering capabilities. The role involves hands-on engineering with complex software and systems environments, offering opportunities to grow into AI-powered software engineering, agentic systems, automated testing, program analysis, and scalable engineering platforms. The ideal candidate is a software engineer who enjoys working across technology boundaries, learning new areas, and turning research ideas into practical solutions., * Design, implement, test, debug, and maintain software across systems, AI, and developer platforms.

 * Develop software in C/C++, Python, and PowerShell, with potential work in Rust/C#.
 * Work with operating systems, system components, virtualization, and systems infrastructure.
 * Build automation for software engineering, testing, debugging, and developer workflows.
 * Develop and integrate LLM- and Agentic AI-based solutions for software engineering and program analysis.
 * Explore automated code generation, test generation, debugging, program analysis, and developer productivity.
 * Build tools and services that integrate AI with source code, engineering data, tests, logs, and system telemetry.
 * Work with cloud infrastructure, virtual machines, and distributed systems.
