* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
 * 5+ years of enterprise systems administration experience
 * Extensive hands-on experience with Windows Server and Microsoft 365
 * Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and identity/access management, including Microsoft Entra ID and hybrid identity environments
 * Experience with Microsoft Intune and MECM/SCCM
 * Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV
 * Strong background in enterprise backup and recovery systems, including Druva or similar platforms
 * Skilled in troubleshooting across operating systems, hardware, virtualization, storage, network, and SaaS/cloud services
 * Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills

## Description

Join the State of Alabama's Office of Information Technology as a Systems Administrator - Intermediate, supporting enterprise infrastructure to ensure robust, secure, and efficient IT operations. This hands-on role involves managing Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, virtualization platforms, backup and recovery systems, cloud storage, and related infrastructure.
