Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Social Designer - **Company:** Graphic Design, Inc. - **Location:** United States (Remote available) - **Experience:** Experienced - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Computer Animation, Adobe Creative Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Computing Platforms, Design Studio, Video Editing, Alwayson, Figma, Tools for Reporting - **Published:** September 25, 2026 - **Apply:** https://arc.dev/remote-jobs/j/redirect/pmw3t3lr04 ## About the Role * 3+ years of agency, in-house social team, or design studio experience with a focus on social media design * Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other core design and video-editing tools * A portfolio that shows strong platform-native design and short-form video/motion work across Instagram, TikTok, and at least one additional platform * Proven ability to design, shoot, and/or edit UGC-style content including native, in-feed video and photo that reads as authentic and organic rather than polished or produced * Experience designing paid social ad creative, including adapting a single concept across multiple formats and specs * Strong conceptual thinking paired with the visual and technical skill to execute it well on tight, always-on timelines * Comfort presenting and defending creative decisions to internal teams and clients * Demonstrated curiosity about and application of generative AI tools, and an understanding of how they can enhance (not replace) the creative process Additional or Bonus Experience * Experience with social scheduling/publishing and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, native platform insights) * Experience in motion design, animation, or UGC-style content creation * Experience in UX/web design or spatial/environmental design ## Description As a Social Designer, you'll bring visual craft and platform fluency to the always-on social content needs of your dedicated account(s). You'll become the visual voice for their social channels, from daily content and campaign tie-ins to paid social creative - while partnering closely with the account and creative team to keep every post on-brand, on-trend, and built to perform. What You'll Do Creative Development * Create visual design and short-form motion/video content for social, always-on posts, campaign content, Stories, Reels, and other native formats for your dedicated account(s) * Translate creative briefs, brand guidelines, and social strategy into concepts and executions that are original, on-brand, and built to perform across platforms * Partner with writers, strategists, and account teams to build content grounded in real audience needs and platform trends * Design paid social ad creative, adapting a single concept across platform specs and formats to meet campaign goals Client and Team Collaboration * Present creative work internally and to clients with confidence, articulating the thinking behind the design and the platform rationale * Collaborate with the other members of the creative team, motion designers, and partners to carry design intent through to final execution * Give and receive feedback openly, contributing to a culture of craft and constructive critique * Support and mentor junior designers when opportunities arise Platform Expertise and Adaptability * Maintain deep working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook, including their formats, specs, trends, and best practices * Monitor platform and cultural trends, bringing timely, relevant ideas back to the account team * Stay current on design trends, tools, and emerging technology, including AI, and bring what you learn back to the team, Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Work Arrangement: Remote or Hybrid * This role is open to remote candidates. Remote employees should be available during core working hours and may occasionally be asked to travel to St. Louis, MO, or other locations for team meetings, client needs, shoots, events, or other key moments. * St. Louis-based employees are generally in the office Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with Tuesday and Friday designated as remote, no-meeting days.
