## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
 * 10+ years of hands-on experience in Pega development, with 10+ years preferred/required for this position.
 * Strong proficiency in Pega Case Management, Data Modeling, UI Development, Decisioning, and Integrations.
 * Experience with Pega Infinity 8.x or later, with familiarity with App Studio and Dev Studio.
 * Solid understanding of Pega architecture, Enterprise Class Structure (ECS), Rulesets, and Guardrails.
 * Knowledge of Java fundamentals, SQL, XML/JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
 * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with distributed teams., * Pega Certified System Architect (CSA/CPSA) - mandatory in most cases; CSSA highly preferred.
 * Healthcare/Payer domain experience, including claims processing, member management, and provider workflows.
 * Experience with Pega Decisioning/CDH, Constellation UI, or Pega Cloud.
 * Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and performance monitoring tools.
 * Knowledge of HIPAA, security best practices, and enterprise integration patterns.
 * Prior healthcare industry experience is a strong plus.
