In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities. ## Description The Schwab SRE Platform team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Platform Developer to join a specialized group developing shared reliability tooling for Schwab's SRE and production support teams. The SRE Platform team focuses on empowering support teams through self-service, consolidating and scaling support capabilities, improving the production support engineer experience, and creating force multipliers through collaborative development. As a member of the development team, you will design and build automation, shared platform services, backend integrations, and AI-enabled solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce support toil. This is primarily a hands-on software development and platform engineering role rather than a traditional production support position. You will partner with engineering teams, architects, product owners, and operational stakeholders to turn recurring support challenges into secure, reusable, production-ready capabilities that can be adopted across the organization.
