These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: * The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening, * Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, STEM college degree or certification in IT with equivalent work experience * 2+ years of experience evaluating, testing, implementing, certifying, and accrediting classified and sensitive but unclassified information systems for both Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software * Experience with the analysis and evaluation of hardware in support of the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense, and other Federal Government Agencies * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment * Perform and execute organization's safety programs and policies, and compliance knowledge assessments ## Description * Analyze and interpret project data to provide recommendations and strategic recommendations for datacenter-related operations models, support, and implementation plans * Interpret customer requirements as they relate to standard operating procedures and drive parity between the two * Collaborate across internal groups, external suppliers, and customers * Document and improve processes around planning, implementation, operations, confidentiality, security, and compliance to ensure the work that is being done is securely, compliantly, efficiently, and per standards * Represent Microsoft in engagements with internal/external entities and the U.S. Government * Participate in technical communities to stay informed of effective practices and changes within the broader discipline and share them with the organization * Develop, create, implement, and support physical and operations security (OPSEC) policies, plans, and processes internal security and compliance teams that allow Datacenter Operations to operate in a manner that is compliant with relevant U.S. Government (and/or other unique environment) security standards and requirements for the operation of highly confidential and regulated projects * Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of datacenter activities * Establish and enhance working relationships with customers * Create and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on time delivery * Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end project plans with stakeholders and teams * Perform day-to-day project check-in and update accordingly to manage project delivery and quality * Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other teams to drive resolution * Gather and provide feedback on lessons learned, effective practices, and innovations on process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity * Work with various Engineering, Operations, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, DC Build Managers, and Regional Technical Infrastructure Managers during project planning and execution * Learn, live, and coach the One Microsoft culture and values. Lead through change by bringing clarity, generating energy, and delivering success Skills & capabilities that are critical to success include: * Utilization of critical thinking skills to conceptualize complex business problems and their solutions * Independently execute projects that help our site teams understand the findings and translating them into action to benefit our Datacenter Operations * Leading programs to align strategies, strategic plans, and solutions-sets between the customer, internal groups, and Datacenter Operations * Demonstrating structured thinking, planning and the ability to execute by collaborating and working through others (teammates, SMEs and leadership teams) and influencing without authority * Communicating effectively and concisely with stakeholders and leaders about our programs and objectives, requirements are required pre-offer and post-hire for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination. * Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment. * Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. * Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
