 * FastAPI, Flask, and/or Django
 * Spring Boot/Spring and Java REST APIs/microservices
 * Strong REST API and Microservices development
 * Python testing - PyTest / unittest
 * Java testing - JUnit / Mockito
 * Strong SQL and relational databases - PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server
 * Kafka / RabbitMQ and event-driven architecture
 * Docker and Kubernetes
 * CI/CD - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
 * Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
 * OAuth 2.0, JWT, API security, logging, resilience, and performance optimization
 * Strong debugging, problem-solving, system design, and production support experience

Preferred:

 * Enterprise-scale application development
 * Distributed systems and event-driven architecture
 * Java-to-Python application/service modernization experience
 * Financial Services / Banking / Insurance experience
 * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
