## About the Role

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
 * 5+ years of experience in systems administration, technical support, cloud operations, or a similar IT role.
 * Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows systems, networking, and enterprise applications.
 * Experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
 * Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL Server, and virtualization.
 * Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).
 * Experience supporting hybrid (cloud and on-premises) environments.
 * Familiarity with ticketing systems and service management processes.
 * Relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience in regulated industries.
 * Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy standards.
 * Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Power Platform, or AI productivity tools.

Working Conditions

 * Primarily remote with occasional on-site work as needed.
 * Standard business hours with flexibility based on operational needs.
 * Requires prolonged computer use and the ability to manage multiple technical priorities.

## Description

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability, and supporting business-critical applications and services., * Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, application, and cloud-related issues.

 * Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance stability and reliability.
 * Maintain servers, applications, and system configurations.
 * Perform system upgrades, patching, and configuration changes.
 * Support hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to resolve technical issues.
 * Document support activities and maintain accurate records.
 * Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
