## About the Role

* 5+ years of production PostgreSQL experience.
 * Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL internals, query tuning, indexing, partitioning, and replication.
 * Experience managing large-scale, high-traffic databases.
 * Familiarity with Terraform, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments.
 * Experience with data platforms, ETL, analytics workloads, and monitoring tools.
 * Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Database Reliability Engineer to architect, optimize, and maintain highly available PostgreSQL environments. You'll ensure reliability, performance, and scalability across large-scale, cloud-based database systems.
Key Responsibilities

 * Design and manage highly available PostgreSQL architectures using AWS RDS and Aurora.
 * Optimize queries, indexes, partitioning, and database performance.
 * Manage backup, replication, recovery, and failover processes.
 * Troubleshoot slow queries, locks, deadlocks, and database bottlenecks.
 * Automate database maintenance and reliability workflows.
 * Support data migrations, application scaling, and operational improvements.
 * Maintain clear technical documentation.
