## About the Role

* 5+ years of hands-on Kubernetes architecture experience, including control plane, worker nodes, API server, etcd, and resource lifecycle management.
 * 10+ years of infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering experience, with AWS preferred.
 * Strong expertise in Cluster API (CAPI) for cluster provisioning, upgrades, scaling, and lifecycle automation.
 * Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes workloads, networking, CNI, CoreDNS, Ingress, Gateway API, and Network Policies.
 * Implement GitOps deployment models using Flux, Helm, Kustomize, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
 * Manage Kubernetes security, RBAC, secrets, certificate management, and policy enforcement.
 * Implement observability using Prometheus, Grafana, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
 * Expertise in persistent storage, CSI, PV/PVC, disaster recovery, backup/restore, and high availability.
 * Mandatory CKA certification. CKAD, CKS, AWS certifications, and Nutanix Kubernetes Platform (NKP) are preferred.
 * Lead troubleshooting, governance, platform modernization, stakeholder collaboration, and technical mentoring.
