## About the Role

* Opleiding & Ervaring: Je beschikt over een Masterdiploma (Informatica of Elektronica-ICT) of bent gelijkwaardig door relevante werkervaring in een operationele IT/productie-omgeving.
 * Technische Stack: Je hebt een gedegen kennis van Windows-omgevingen, databasesystemen (SQL Server, Oracle) en netwerkinfrastructuur (TCP/IP, VLAN, firewalls).
 * Pluspunten: Ervaring met productiesystemen (SCADA of MES), visualisatietools (Power BI) of een sterke affiniteit met Industrie 4.0 is een grote troef.
 * Soft Skills: Je bent analytisch, pragmatisch en een echte problem-solver. Je hebt een leergierige attitude en gaat servicegericht te werk.
 * Talen & Bereikbaarheid: Je communiceert vloeiend in het Nederlands en Engels. Je bent flexibel om on-site te werken en woont op een haalbare afstand (max. 1 uur van regio Westerlo).

## Description

Als IT/OT System Engineer ben jij de cruciale schakel tussen de operationele productieprocessen en de achterliggende IT-infrastructuur. Je krijgt de kans om projecten van A tot Z te begeleiden.

 * Beheer & Optimalisatie: Je onderhoudt de netwerkarchitectuur van de operations-omgeving, inclusief het server- en workstationlandschap (Windows, SQL, Oracle).
 * Implementatie & Projecten: Je coördineert of ondersteunt de uitrol van nieuwe IT/OT-oplossingen en systeemupgrades.
 * Security & Continuïteit: Je zet in op cybersecurity initiatieven binnen het OT-landschap en bouwt solide disaster recovery processen op.
 * Stakeholdermanagement: Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor business verantwoordelijken en schakelt vlot met interne of externe leveranciers.
 * Documentatie & Asset Management: Je volgt incidenten op, documenteert systeemconfiguraties en optimaliseert het asset beheer.
