## About the Role

+ 10+ years' commercial Delphi (XE2, XE10+)
 + 10+ years' Transact-SQL / MS SQL Server
 + 3+ years' .NET C# ideally
 + Demonstrable experience mentoring developers and/or leading technical teams
 + Experience with legacy, undocumented systems
 + Agile/Waterfall/hybrid delivery experience
 + Strong communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. Role is hybrid with Monday and Wednesday in the office.

A senior opportunity for an experienced Delphi developer ready to combine hands-on technical ownership with real mentoring and team leadership. You'll maintain and enhance a large-scale, business-critical enterprise application used by clients globally - while actively raising the capability of the wider team around you.
The Role

 + Maintain and enhance a mission-critical Delphi application; diagnose and resolve complex defects
 + Act as technical mentor - coaching developers, sharing knowledge, raising team capability
 + Lead on planning, estimating and reviewing development work
 + Guide best practice on secure coding, documentation and QA
 + Liaise with business users, QA and infrastructure teams as senior technical contact
 + Contribute technical direction to modernisation and transition projects
