You'll need to be comfortable working independently, managing a varied workload and explaining technical issues to people with different levels of IT experience. You'll also need good organisational skills and an understanding of the importance of data security, confidentiality and compliance. You don't need to know everything - technology is constantly evolving. What matters is that you're willing to learn, investigate problems, find solutions and keep developing your knowledge. ## Description We're looking for an enthusiastic and solutions-focused Systems and Data Administrator to join our team and take responsibility for the technology, systems and data that support our organisation. This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You'll provide hands-on IT support across the organisation, keep our systems secure and effective, work with colleagues and external suppliers, and play a key role in exploring how technology can improve the lives of the people we support. What you'll be doing You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of Style Acre's IT and technology, including: * Managing the supply, installation, maintenance and repair of IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, servers, tablets and mobile phones. * Supporting CCTV, home automation, assistive technology and sensory technology. * Managing Microsoft 365 and other organisational software. * Managing broadband, Wi-Fi and network infrastructure across our properties, working alongside our IT partners. * Providing technical support to colleagues and the people we support. * Working with suppliers and technical support teams to resolve issues and develop solutions. * Maintaining accurate hardware and software inventories, user accounts and access arrangements. * Supporting the security of our systems and helping ensure our data is managed appropriately and in line with current legislation. * Providing some programming and technical support for the Style Acre website. * Supporting technology-related projects and organisational development. * Managing the disposal of redundant and outdated technology securely and responsibly. Technology for Independence One of the most exciting parts of this role is managing our Technology for Independence project. You'll work with colleagues and our Senior Leadership Team to regularly review how technology can support the people we support, helping us make the most of developments in assistive, sensory and other technologies. You'll also support people working within the Style Acre IT department, helping them develop their skills and contribute meaningfully to our organisation. Looking to the future Technology is changing rapidly, and we want Style Acre to embrace the opportunities it brings while doing so safely and responsibly. You'll help us explore and develop our use of Artificial Intelligence, ensuring we understand its benefits and risks and use it in ways that are appropriate, secure and beneficial to the organisation and the people we support. We'll also support you to keep your own knowledge and skills up to date through training, online learning, research and occasional industry events., Most importantly, you'll share Style Acre's commitment to supporting people to live the lives they choose.
