You should have proven experience with: * Enterprise Wi-Fi support, deployment and troubleshooting. * LAN and WAN networking. * Routing and switching technologies. * VLANs. * Spanning Tree Protocol (STP). * TCP/IP networking. * IP addressing and subnetting. * DNS, DHCP and VPN technologies. * Firewall administration and troubleshooting. * Network monitoring and diagnostics. You should be comfortable discussing networking concepts in detail and able to confidently troubleshoot issues at Layers 2 and 3. Microsoft Technologies Experience supporting Microsoft environments is also required, including: * Microsoft 365 * Active Directory * Microsoft Entra ID * Intune * Azure * Windows Server, * Active CCNA certification is essential (or equivalent current networking qualification). * Minimum 3 years' experience in a Network Engineer, Network Support Engineer or Infrastructure Support position. * Experience working within an MSP environment would be highly desirable. * Experience with technologies such as Ruckus, Meraki, Fortinet, HPE, WatchGuard or similar vendors is advantageous., Please note: This is a client-facing role. We are particularly interested in candidates who combine strong networking expertise with excellent communication skills, a professional manner and the ability to represent the business confidently when working directly with customers. ## Description We're looking for a customer-focused Network Support Engineer to join a specialist MSP delivering networking, Wi-Fi and infrastructure solutions to the hospitality sector across the UK. This role is ideal for someone with a strong networking background who enjoys working directly with customers, solving complex connectivity issues, and acting as a trusted technical contact. You'll support a diverse client base, including hotels and hospitality venues where service quality, communication and professionalism are every bit as important as technical ability.
