## About the Role

* Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Snowflake platforms.
 * Strong knowledge of Snowflake security, governance and RBAC.
 * Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
 * Experience with platform optimisation, monitoring and FinOps.
 * Cloud platform expertise across AWS and/or Azure.
 * Strong understanding of enterprise data platform architecture and governance.
 * Excellent stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
 * Experience delivering projects within Defence, Central Government, National Security or Critical National Infrastructure is desirable.
 * Eligibility for UK Security Clearance is desirable.

* Lead the design and optimisation of enterprise Snowflake platforms.
 * Define and implement platform governance, security and RBAC.
 * Deliver platform maturity assessments and future operating models.
 * Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
 * Drive automation, monitoring, observability and FinOps best practices.
 * Provide technical leadership across architecture, engineering and platform operations.

 * Terraform, We are recruiting for an experienced Snowflake Lead Architect to join a large-scale data platform transformation programme supporting customers across Defence, Public Sector, National Security and Critical National Infrastructure. This is a hybrid role based in the South West with regular client engagement. The contract is outside IR35, has a duration of 6 months, and is available to start as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile data platform programme, influencing the future architecture and governance of a critical enterprise Snowflake environment.
