## About the Role

4+ years' Network Engineering / Network Security experience, ideally within financial services or another high-performance environment.

CCNP or equivalent experience preferred.

Early-start operational rota 06:30-18:30, with occasional weekend/Bank Holiday cover and Data Centre visits.

## Description

Leading financial exchange is looking for a hands-on Network Operations Engineer to support a low-latency trading network across on-premise and cloud environments.

 * OSPF / BGP
 * Firewalls & Fortinet
 * IPSEC VPNs
 * Arista EOS
 * AWS Networking
 * Multicast / PIM / PTP
 * Wireshark / TCPdump / Syslog
 * SolarWinds / Network Monitoring
 * Ansible / Python

The Role

 * Monitor and support live network, security and trading infrastructure
 * Troubleshoot complex network issues using logs, monitoring and packet analysis
 * Manage client connectivity, onboarding and access
 * Support leased lines, circuits and telecoms providers
 * Implement network/security changes and contribute to infrastructure projects
 * Perform incident investigation and root-cause analysis
