Experience learning new concepts around network design and management 10. Experience with UNIX, TCP/IP, network fundamentals, or similar 11. Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment 12. Experience with computer networks 13. Experience coding in at least one language (Python/Golang/Rust/C++ are all in use) 14. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: 15. Knowledge of Switching and Routing concepts and implementation 16. Knowledge of routing protocols BGP, OSPF and ISIS 17. Knowledge of tunneling protocols MPLS, GRE, IPnIP 18. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) 19. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) 20. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies ## Description This will be your network and it is constantly growing. Your primary function will be to ensure that the network is reliable, robust and can scale to meet the challenges that serving over a billion users presents. Develop automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events 6. Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network issues 7. Be an active participant in deep technical discussions 8.
