Experience working with sensitive data in a professional environment; this could be in HR, finance, operations or another data focused role. Experience producing reports or responding to data queries. Experience working with customers. Ability and confidence to work independently, seeking out solutions and using innovative thinking to identify improvements. High attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy and quality. Ability to follow processes while documenting your work clearly. Basic problem solving skills, with the ability to identify issues rather than simply complete tasks. Confidence in learning new systems and tools quickly. Good communication skills and a customer focused approach to supporting users. Desirable skills and experience It would be great if you also have: Experience working in an HR or People function. Experience supporting business systems or handling user queries. Experience carrying out data quality checks or audits. Experience building reports or dashboards, such as in Power BI. An understanding of basic data structures, including tables, fields and relationships. Exposure to system configuration, such as forms, fields or simple workflows. Experience contributing to projects or process improvements. The confidence to suggest improvements rather than simply follow instructions. This will help us to understand any modifications we may need to make to support you throughout our selection process. ## Description We are looking for an HRIS Administrator to help keep our People systems running accurately, reliably and efficiently. You will play an important role in supporting the day to day operation of our HR technology, maintaining accurate employee data, producing reports and dashboards, and providing 1st line support to HR colleagues and managers. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data and systems, has excellent attention to detail, and wants to develop their skills in HR systems and people analytics. What you will be doing: System Management and Development: Maintain accurate system data and configurations in Sage People. Make straightforward system changes, including fields, templates and basic workflows. Support system testing, releases and upgrades. Investigate and resolve standard issues, escalating more complex problems when required. Take ownership of smaller system changes and fixes as your experience develops. Data Quality: Run regular data checks and audits to ensure information remains accurate and reliable. Clean and correct data issues. Identify and flag recurring data problems and trends. Reporting and Dashboards: Produce regular reports and dashboards for HR and the wider business. Maintain and update existing reports. Respond to ad hoc data and reporting requests. Prepare data and carry out initial analysis to identify simple trends or anomalies. User Support: Provide first-line support to employees, HR colleagues and managers. Respond to and resolve standard system and data queries. Maintain clear guidance, documentation and user information. Help users understand and make effective use of People systems. Projects and Improvements Support HR and People projects through testing, data preparation and administration. Coordinate straightforward project tasks. Contribute ideas for improvements to systems, processes and data quality.
