## About the Role

* Commercial experience in a DevOps, Platform, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
 * Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and Bash scripting.
 * Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or OpenStack.
 * Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform and Ansible.
 * Experience designing, maintaining, and testing backup and disaster recovery processes.
 * Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps methodologies, and automation practices.
 * Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
 * Knowledge of ArgoCD would be advantageous.
 * Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Build, improve, and maintain automated deployment, configuration, and upgrade processes across infrastructure and applications.
 * Help ensure platform security, scalability, and high availability, supporting a zero-downtime approach wherever possible.
 * Monitor and manage Kubernetes environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
 * Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
 * Support infrastructure and application upgrades through planning, testing, and deployment activities.
 * Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
 * Work closely with development and engineering teams to optimise platform performance and reliability.
 * Champion DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous improvement across the technology estate.
