Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) * Microsoft Azure, VMware, Cisco, GIAC, CISSP, or comparable cloud and infrastructure certification. * Experience with Commvault/Metallic, Azure-native backup, geo-replication, and immutable or air-gapped storage. * Familiarity with Ansible for operating system/application configuration and day-two infrastructure operations. * Experience with Bash and a general-purpose programming language such as Python. * Experience with SAN, NAS, Azure Files, Azure NetApp Files, cloud storage tiers, Graylog, or comparable enterprise infrastructure and observability technologies. ## Description We are seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will be accountable for the day-to-day administration, operation, continuous improvement, and engineering of Aspire Bakeries' cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and its integration with on-premises systems. You will help ensure hybrid workloads are secure, reliable, cost-effective, and supported by repeatable infrastructure-as-code automation using Terraform and Azure DevOps. This role requires you to be onsite four days per week, giving you hands-on collaboration with the team and daily exposure to the pulse of the business., * Operate and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, monitoring, backup, and platform services to support secure, reliable, and responsive workloads. * Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code automation using Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines to enable repeatable, auditable provisioning and decommissioning of Azure resources. * Design and support cloud and hybrid solutions integrating Azure with on-premises infrastructure, virtualization, networking, security, and identity services. * Implement and maintain cloud identity, access, security, hardening, vulnerability management, logging, and monitoring requirements in partnership with Identity and Cybersecurity teams. * Deliver and validate backup, recovery, and business continuity capabilities for Azure workloads, including disaster recovery testing and runbook development. * Improve infrastructure efficiency, reliability, performance, and cost through system optimization, upgrades, patching, right-sizing, root-cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions. * Maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, architectural diagrams, Terraform modules, runbooks, naming conventions, and tagging standards while serving as a technical owner for assigned cloud services. ## Related Videos - [How Cisco embraced a DevOps culture within its network engineering team](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/99-how-cisco-embraced-a-devops-culture-within-its-network-engineering-team) - [Dev & Test in the Cloud?
