## About the Role

* Bachelor Degree in Engineering
 * 3D modeling experience, Solidworks preferred
 * Sheet metal experience, punching, laser, forming, welding, etc.
 * MRP experience, item master, bill of material, etc.
 * Experience with sheet metal laboratory casework a plus

Requirements:

 * Computer software knowledge including Microsoft office products
 * Excellent communication skills (phone, written, verbal)
 * Strong analytical, organizational, inter-personal, and detail-oriented skills and abilities
 * Demonstrated success in teamwork and continuous improvement
 * Strong commitment to excellence in customer service
 * Self-motivated with the ability to make judgement calls and work with little supervision

 * Minimum travel, may span weekends and or holidays

## Description

* Analyze and interpret customer drawings, to prepare BOMs for project release to manufacturing
 * Read customers order entry system, WinCAT, to prepare BOM's for project release to manufacturing
 * Work with engineering manager or coordinator to schedule projects
 * Create and modify SW models to create products for drawings or WinCAT
 * Engage with manufacturing to design error free parts and understand how parts flow through the plant
 * Ability to work with engineers oversees, including scheduling, prioritizing, and per reviewing their work
 * Ability to manage your own projects from design, manufacturer, to assembly
