High School Diploma or equivalent 2. OSHA General Industry training preferred (OSHA 10 hour/30-hour etc). EXPERIENCE 1. 1-3 years' experience working in an Inspection or Quality related role 2. Manufacturing experience (preferred) 3. Experience in the manufacturing, construction, and/or building materials industry preferred 4. Experience as a manufacturing assembler, construction worker, equipment operator, forklift operator, skilled laborer, or general laborer is preferred LANGUAGES 1. Fluent in English 2. Spanish competence preferred SKILLS AND COMPETENCES 1. Attention to detail is a must!!! 2. Manufacturing, construction, quality control experience is highly desired 3. Ability to interpret shop drawings and job specifications 4. Proficient Computer Skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 5. OSHA General Industry a plus 6. Familiar with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 preferred 7. Solid math aptitude 8. Ability to work independently 9. We provide a working environment that is healthy, safe and in accordance with international standards and local laws for all employees. ## Description JOB SUMMARY The QA/QC Technician is a production professional responsible for fulfilling day to day quality functions in a manufacturing environment. Duties include (but are not limited to) conducting regular and irregular inspections relevant to production quality, health & safety, and environmental sustainability. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES A QA/QC Technician will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance processes, evaluation and testing of products, recording of results gathered, and reporting results as they are realized. Other duties include: 1. Performing and/or ensuring quality control inspections are conducted throughout the production process. 2. Performs spot audits as needed. 3. Performs special inspections and projects as needed. 4. Monitors the quality of raw materials. 5. Reports quality, safety, and environmental issues to the Quality Manager in a timely manner. 6. Inspects materials, parts, and products at different stages of production 7. Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes 8. Participates in quality, environmental sustainability, and health & safety root cause investigations. 9. Works with production to identify and resolve quality issues 10. Manages housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace 11. Serves as a champion for foundational quality and lean principles (5S, ISO, Kaizen…) 12.
