## About the Role

* 3-5 years of professional software development experience.

 * Strong knowledge of backend development in languages such as Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.

 * Skilled in in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.

 * Develop scalable and high performing microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

 * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

 * Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar).

 * Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in distributed environments.

 * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Exposure to GenAI tools, SaaS platforms, and low-code/no-code tools.

 * Familiarity with serverless technologies and event-driven architecture.

 * Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).

 * Working knowledge of monitoring stacks like Datadog, Prometheus, or ELK.

 * Experience modernizing legacy systems or integrating with enterprise platforms.

 * Awareness of DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code.

 * Background in media, entertainment business domain is a plus.

## Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will contribute to the design and development of scalable, secure, and user-centric applications that power Versant's next-generation platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in startup-like environments, is eager to learn, and is passionate about using SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms to deliver value quickly.

Key Responsibilities

 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver full-stack solutions that solve real business problems.

 * Implement scalable, fault-tolerant microservices and modern front-end applications.

 * Use SaaS and low-code/no-code platforms where appropriate to accelerate delivery.

 * Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team knowledge-sharing sessions.

 * Write secure, performant, and maintainable code.

 * Work closely with product and architecture teams to ensure alignment in technical direction and business priorities.
