The IT Manager is responsible for the support of company applications, technologies, and/or infrastructure across the organization, serving as a business and technical liaison between internal and external customers. Manages cross functional planning and project teams in the establishment, design and implementation of new or revised systems and programs. Manages direct reports, providing timely and insightful direction and coaching on roles, responsibilities, business strategy, and customer-driven culture expectations. Some of the IT Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Provides leadership and oversight to direct reports and team by establishing goals, providing coaching and feedback, evaluating performance, and supporting development and training initiatives * Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with both senior and operating level business leaders across the organization, customers and vendors. * Be a thought partner to the team and business units, providing recommendations for improvement of business processes by leveraging existing IT capabilities and/or defining new strategic IT capabilities. * Acts as the point of contact for escalated department/team issues and facilitate the prioritization process. * Establish and reinforce clean-code practices, reusable components, automated testing and engineering standards that improve maintainability and reduce technical debt. * Advance DevSecOps capabilities, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, observability, environment management and operational readiness. * Promote responsible adoption of AI and GenAI across software development, testing, modernization, support and developer productivity while aligning with security, risk and governance expectations. * Manages and leads projects and project life cycle; accountable for identifying needs, securing commitments and monitoring progress of deliverables.
