In this role, you will use C#, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server to develop and enhance the Improved Weather Dissemination System (IWDS), a web-based application that delivers weather data used to support operations and personnel safety across Eglin. Principal Duties and Responsibilities + Develops and enhances the existing JavaScript/Blazor web interface and C#/Microsoft SQL Server back-end components used to edit and display customer data. + Proactively identifies opportunities to improve user workflows and recommends software solutions without waiting for formal feature requests. + Develops data acquisition services to retrieve, cache, and manage the archival of information from remote systems. + Works with customers to improve the collection, notification, and display of data by recommending specific software implementations to meet their needs. + Develops unattended applications for data extraction, text processing, and data manipulation. + Continuously improves the performance, reliability, and maintainability of full stack web applications and reports. + Conducts peer reviews.
