NOC Technician I - Application Assurance As an NOC Technician I with our Application Assurance team, you will be a part of a team that performs 24 x7 continuous DC and IT infrastructure monitoring of Metronet's data centers, server systems, and applications. As a Technician I, you should have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within at least one of the above fields. You will also rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions typically require working independently, but some technical assistance from higher-level technicians, engineers, supervisors or Manager as needed. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Operate in a 24x7x365 Operations Center; this includes shift work, 2nd and 3rd shift hours, and weekends * Constant monitoring of ITOM and Network Management systems for alarms and performance metrics in the METRONET IT Enterprise domain.
