## About the Role

## Description

Manpower Engineering is seeking a Senior Automation/Robotics Systems & Integration Engineer to lead the integration, validation, and execution of automation solutions for our client's restaurant automation operations. This role bridges product concept and real-world deployment by working across internal teams and external partners to ensure systems are functional, reliable, and ready for scale.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong cross-functional experience who can drive progress, solve integration challenges, and ensure automation systems perform effectively in real-world restaurant environments. Plano, TX
This position is long-term, indefinite with consideration hire for the right person, 1. Program Execution
o Lead day-to-day execution of automation development projects
o Coordinate across internal teams and external engineering partners
o Drive timelines, decision-making, and issue resolution to maintain project momentum

 2. System Integration
o Ensure mechanical, controls, and software components function as an integrated system
o Identify and mitigate integration risks early in the development process
o Support system architecture decisions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

 3. Testing and Validation
o Develop and execute test plans in both lab and restaurant environments
o Evaluate system performance including throughput, reliability, usability, and cleanability
o Analyze test results and provide clear recommendations for improvement

 4. Real-World Deployment Readiness
o Translate restaurant operational needs into system requirements
o Ensure solutions are viable in real-world store environments
o Support pilot deployments and iterative improvements based on field feedback

 5. Requirements and Specifications
o Develop functional requirements and system specifications
o Align cross-functional stakeholders on performance expectations and success criteria
