## About the Role

* Strong experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Security.
 * Strong understanding of data security principles and protection of sensitive information.
 * Solid understanding of HTTP/REST, TLS/SSL, authentication, and authorization.
 * Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across logs, thread dumps, and network traces.
 * Operational and engineering experience managing enterprise applications and services.
 * Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering best practices.
 * Ability to work within architectural standards, security requirements, and least-privilege principles.

Preferred Skills

 * Exposure to HashiCorp Vault or enterprise secrets management platforms.
 * Experience supporting IAM or credential-management applications.
 * Experience in financial services or another regulated enterprise environment.
 * Experience with incident and vulnerability management processes.

## Description

* Maintain, develop, test, support, and enhance the legacy Java-based application running in production.
 * Use Spring and Spring Security to build secure and efficient application capabilities.
 * Support the migration of SCV features to the HashiCorp Vault platform.
 * Perform bug fixes, automation, DevOps, engineering, and operational support activities.
 * Develop integrations and onboard tools that support business needs and the Brokerage ecosystem.
 * Troubleshoot issues using logs, thread dumps, and network traces.
 * Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
 * Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices when managing applications and services.
