 * Ability to build and support highly scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant services
 * Experience designing, implementing, and debugging systems that interact with large-sized data sets
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Skills

 * Knowledge of CDN architectures and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, DNS)
 * Experience with multiple data stores and streaming services such as MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka, or Redis
 * Familiarity with GraphQL or related graph modeling and querying concepts
 * Hands-on Big Data experience using Hive, Pig, Hadoop, or similar
 * Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WebSockets, Leads revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, collections, audit readiness, and financial control operations. Ensures ASC 606 and GAAP compliance, manages billing platforms and ERP integrations, drives automation and AI adoption, develops scalable processes, partners cross-functionally, reports financial metrics, and supervises accounting staff. Requires extensive revenue accounting and billing experience in SaaS or software, management expertise, and strong technical accounting knowledge.

## Description

You will be charged with handling impactful availability, scalability, and usability challenges and must self-define optimal ways to configure, manage, and observe our growing Open Connect platform. Our platform is a fundamental building block to our streaming initiatives - providing critical solutions for one of the world's largest CDNs and empowering stakeholders to operate the CDN more efficiently and reliably. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work in a wide variety of areas, such as:

 * Implementing microservices to enable analytics, insights, discovery, and visualizations
 * Designing orchestration to manage many thousands of globally distributed appliances and devices
 * Building data models and APIs to help manage and maintain our fleet
 * Understanding the breadth of our multi-tenant platform, creating solutions which can be leveraged across multiple domains - including networking, video, and gaming, Leads complex, multi-workstream product initiatives as a principal Product Owner. Owns product vision, strategy, backlog integrity, prioritization, and Scrum team alignment. Coordinates Product, Engineering, Design, Delivery, and other stakeholders; improves execution discipline, transparency, and outcome tracking. Stabilizes programs with fragmented ownership or elevated delivery risk while ensuring customer and business requirements are addressed. Requires substantial Product Owner or Senior Product Manager experience, preferably in payments or financial services., Leads revenue recognition, billing, accounts receivable, collections, audit readiness, and financial controls. Owns ASC 606 compliance, billing systems, process automation, AI-enabled accounting improvements, reporting, and cross-functional alignment. Manages and mentors the accounting team while supporting scalable revenue operations and public-company readiness.
