Job Summary and Responsibilities As ourCoder Lead, you will serve as a vital subject matter expert and mentor within our Revenue Cycle department. You will provide critical leadership by coordinating daily coding workflows, assessing production and quality standards, and acting as a key liaison between physicians and support staff. Your role is essential in troubleshooting complex billing issues, ensuring clinical documentation integrity, and maintaining adherence to government regulations while utilizing electronic health record systems like Epic. Every day you will oversee the productivity of the coding team, which includes facilitating new hire training, shadowing, and conducting performance quality reviews. You will manage incoming coding volume and charge lag reporting, provide analytical insights to revenue cycle leadership, and monitor customer service work queues to resolve coding concerns. When needed, you will serve as a hands-on contributor, filling in for coding staff to
