The Workforce Education Data Systems (WEDS) office is seeking an individual to serve in a full-time position as a Systems Project Analyst. As a Systems Project Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the data systems that drive statewide workforce education reporting, analysis, and decision-making. Your work will directly support educators, institutions, policymakers, and partner agencies across Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, technology, and public service, with meaningful projects that evolve over time., In this role, the incumbent will: * Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of information technology systems and applications. * Write and execute SQL queries and leverage SAS programming for data analysis, data collection and reporting. * Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and functional specifications. * Participate in design, development, testing, and deployment of system enhancements. * Review system specifications to ensure alignment with business requirements. * Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability. * Assist in the design and improvement of database structures, procedures, and workflows. * Create, maintain and update procedural documentation and technical specifications. * Collaborate with internal teams, external agencies, and district-level partners., Every day the Department of Education works hand in hand with parents, teachers, educators, and community members to improve Florida's education system for students of all backgrounds and abilities.
