## About the Role

* Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience) and 3+ years work experience or equivalent experience.
 * 2+ years of Java and AWS is required.
 * SQL experience is required.
 * Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale applications.
 * Experience working with both legacy platforms and modernization initiative.

Additional preferred experience:

 * Git / GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Test-driven development; DevOps practices.
 * JavaScript; TypeScript; Python; Node.js; React; AWS CDK.

## Description

The Principal Custody Solutions (PCS) team is hiring a Software Engineer to join their team! This role builds and supports automation solutions, integrating with databases and APIs, and collaborates closely with delivery and partner teams with a focus on driving measurable improvements in quality and operational efficiency.

 * Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and lead process and design sessions.
 * Design and develop Java-based applications.
 * Build and maintain AWS cloud services and serverless solutions.
 * Support production systems and resolve incidents.
 * Participates in technical design of features. Focus on attaining expertise in more technical areas.
 * Collaborate with the other technical teams to ensure high-quality integrations and reliable solutions.
 * Diagnose and resolve workflow or system issues while providing ongoing technical support.
 * Create and maintain documentation for solutions, processes, configurations, and standards.
