The ideal candidate will have strong visual and interaction design craft, hands-on prototyping capabilities, and experience designing for mobile-first consumer products at scale ., * Approximately 8 years of product/UX design experience , appropriate for an L5/Senior-level designer. * Strong experience designing consumer-facing digital products , particularly high-traffic or frequently used applications. * Strong visual design, interaction design, and design craft with the ability to produce production-ready work. * Demonstrated experience creating interactive prototypes , not only static design mockups. * Strong proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping workflows. * Experience designing mobile-first experiences , with recent work heavily focused on mobile applications. * Ability to independently lead ambiguous projects and make informed design decisions. * Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, and other design disciplines. * Ability to clearly articulate design rationale and participate in or lead design critiques. * Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work and prototyping. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience designing for large-scale consumer products or high-traffic applications . * Experience with AI-powered, generative AI, conversational UI, or AI-integrated experiences . * Experience using APIs, live data, or code-oriented prototyping workflows. * Experience with modern prototyping tools such as Google Antigravity, Cloud Code, or Make . * Experience with consumer products involving navigation, discovery, recommendations, travel, food delivery, or location-based experiences . * Prior experience at a major technology company or Similar company is a plus. * Experience working across mobile and desktop platforms. * Ability to translate research, data, and product insights into effective design solutions. ## Description We are seeking a Senior UX Designer (L5) to join the Core Local Journeys team within Geo, supporting high-traffic, consumer-facing experiences across Maps.
