## About the Role

* HND or degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
 * Minimum of five years software development experience
 * Strong VB.NET programming skills within an engineering or industrial environment
 * Experience of, or interest in, machine control, motion control, or hardware integration
 * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
 * Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple technical projects
 * Experience with PLCs or laser control systems would be advantageous, but is not essential

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain software that controls complex engineering systems
 * Work closely with engineering, production, and customers to deliver software solutions
 * Troubleshoot technical issues and support global installations
 * Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of innovative products
 * Take part in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through testing, implementation, and continuous improvement
