## About the Role

* Software engineering: commercial experience as a developer, ideally C#/.NET
 * Cloud: ideally AWS
 * Infrastructure as Code (IaC): ideally Terraform
 * AI tools: hands-on use, and keen to push them further
 * Communication: you'll support around 30 engineers day to day

## Description

I'm working with a long-established, consistently profitable online trading business that's adding a Platform Engineer to its three-person platform team. You'll run the platform behind their trading products, covering AWS, Kubernetes (K8s) and Terraform for 400+ C# microservices, and build the tools their 30 or so software engineers use to build, test and deploy.

The platform team are software engineers first and write their own C# services for the developers. You'll need a software engineering background, with the cloud and infrastructure work built on top of it.

The office is in Hertfordshire, an easy train from central London and close to the M1, A1(M) and M25. Office days are Tuesday and Wednesday, plus Thursday for your first six months.
