## About the Role

* 10 years of commercial Delphi experience, including XE2 and XE10
 * 10 years of Transact-SQL and MS SQL Server experience
 * 3 years of .NET C# experience, ideally
 * Demonstrable experience mentoring developers and/or leading technical teams
 * Experience with legacy, undocumented systems
 * Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery experience
 * Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred

## Description

* Maintain and enhance our mission-critical Delphi application
 * Diagnose and resolve complex defects
 * Mentor developers, share knowledge, and raise the wider teams capability
 * Lead the planning, estimating, and reviewing of development work
 * Guide best practices in secure coding, documentation, and quality assurance
 * Liaise with business users, QA, and infrastructure teams as a senior technical contact
 * Contribute technical direction to modernisation and transition projects
