## About the Role

* 4+ years of commercial Python development experience
 * Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or a similar technical discipline
 * Experience designing robust, scalable software
 * Understanding of data processing, storage, and analysis
 * Experience with modern software engineering practices, including Git and Agile
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with highly technical stakeholders
 * Desirable: experience with C++ or KDB+/q, quantitative or financial engineering, CI/CD pipelines, logging and monitoring platforms, database technologies, and software architecture or solution design

## Description

* Partner with Quantitative Researchers to build software supporting research and trading
 * Develop scalable Python applications and workflows
 * Design high-performance solutions for processing and analysing large datasets
 * Collaborate with engineering teams to build reusable software components
 * Take ownership from design through deployment and ongoing improvement
 * Support business-critical systems within a modern engineering environment
