## About the Role

standards, documentation, runbooks, KPIs and SLOs across the DevOps function. * Manage third-party suppliers and technology partners, ensuring services meet agreed performance and operational requirements. * Manage the DevOps on-call rota and ensure appropriate support coverage for production services. * Identify opportunities to introduce automation, AI-assisted tooling and improved engineering practices across the DevOps function. * Provide technical guidance while developing the team and creating opportunities to move towards a more strategic engineering leadership model. Essential Skills & Experience * Proven experience leading or managing DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or similar technical teams. * Experience within retail, ecommerce, luxury retail, travel, fintech or other high-volume digital environments. * Strong hands-on understanding of DevOps practices, with the ability to get involved technically rather than operating purely at a strategic level. * Strong Microsoft
Azure experience across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless, containers and automation. * Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, ARM or similar technologies. * Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Azure DevOps and GitHub. * Good understanding of PowerShell, YAML, Python and/or TypeScript. * Strong understanding of networking, including DNS, routing, firewalls and load balancing. * Experience managing enterprise-scale web applications, microservices and high-traffic digital platforms. * Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Catchpoint or similar. * Experience managing incidents, problem management, root cause analysis and live production environments. * Understanding of application and cloud security, including OWASP principles, WAF, bot management and security scanning. * Experience with CDN technologies and security controls, such as Akamai, Cloudflare or equivalent.JBRP1_UKTJ
