## About the Role

* 1-2 years experience in Oracle database administration or database/system support.
 * Experience working within mission-critical, defence, aerospace or similarly regulated environments.
 * Knowledge of Oracle database administration.
 * Experience supporting Linux environments, particularly RHEL and/or Solaris.
 * Windows Server administration experience (2012/2022) is beneficial.
 * Active SC Clearance is essential.
 * British nationality is essential.

## Description

* Perform Oracle database maintenance and update activities.
 * Implement database changes through established change management processes.
 * Release new databases into live environments.
 * Maintain database change control documentation.
 * Carry out routine backup, archiving and housekeeping activities.
 * Diagnose and resolve database and system failures.
 * Support software, system and database configuration management.

 * Windows, We are hiring a Database Manager for a mission-critical programme based onsite in Chippenham on a 6-month contract at £41.71 per hour (Umbrella). This is a hands-on role supporting the maintenance, configuration and performance of Oracle databases within a secure operational environment. You will help ensure the reliability and availability of critical systems while working within approved change and configuration management processes.
