* Previous experience in B2B sales, business development or IT sales.
 * Experience within an MSP, VAR or IT reseller would be advantageous.
 * Proven track record of generating new business.
 * Confident making outbound calls and engaging with new prospects.
 * Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
 * Commercially driven, resilient and target-focused.
 * Comfortable using CRM systems and modern sales tools.
 * Self-motivated and proactive with a genuine desire to succeed.
 * Ambitious and keen to progress within the IT sales sector.

## Description

We're working with a fast-growing technology solutions provider that is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join their sales team.

The business provides a range of end-to-end IT solutions, including cybersecurity, cloud, IT infrastructure, business continuity and technical support, helping organisations improve their technology, security and overall business performance., As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with key decision-makers and identifying opportunities to introduce tailored IT solutions., * Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, email and LinkedIn.

 * Build and manage your own sales pipeline.
 * Prospect into new organisations and engage with senior decision-makers.
 * Qualify leads and identify genuine sales opportunities.
 * Build and develop long-term customer relationships.
 * Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions.
 * Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from initial contact to close.
 * Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
 * Work closely with internal sales and technical teams.
 * Consistently achieve activity, revenue and GP targets.
