## About the Role

* We are looking for a Power BI Consultant with 2-4 years experience developing reporting and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
 * Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
 * Understanding of data modelling principles and business intelligence concepts.
 * Problem-solving and analytical skills.
 * Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 * Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
 * Collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others.
 * Understanding of data governance, security and reporting best practices.
 * Technical skills in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, data modelling, Power BI Service, report and dashboard design, and data visualisation best practice.
 * Desirable experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Power Platform, APIs and data integrations.
 * Power BI Certification (PL-300) is desirable.

## Description

* Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.
 * Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
 * Create and maintain data models to support reporting solutions.
 * Develop DAX measures, calculated columns and Power Query transformations.
 * Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects and Delivery Teams to deliver integrated solutions.
 * Support testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of Power BI solutions.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve reporting, performance and data quality issues.
 * Apply data visualisation best practices to create engaging and accessible reports.
 * Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
 * Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft Power Platform, Fabric and Power BI capabilities.
 * Contribute to successful project outcomes through effective technical delivery.
 * Support a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
