## About the Role

* Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Extensive software engineering experience.
 * Proven track record of owning and shipping complex, production-grade systems.
 * Experience shipping and maintaining AI-native products or features, or significant personal AI projects demonstrating strong interest in the field.
 * Strong ownership mindset, with a record of seeing projects through to completion and raising execution standards across a team.
 * Bias for action and passion for shipping rapidly and iterating based on feedback.
 * Preferred: Experience with LLMs and agentic systems.
 * Preferred: Hands-on experience with modern AI/LLM technologies such as Databricks, LangChain, or MLflow.
 * Preferred: Advanced understanding of the probabilistic systems underpinning modern LLMs.
 * Preferred: Experience building AI products in accuracy-sensitive domains such as finance.
 * Must have and maintain the right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment; visa sponsorship is not available.

## Description

* Drive end-to-end execution and delivery of AI-native products, from prototype through scalable production services.
 * Architect, build, and productionize core AI platform components, including LLMs and related tools, agentic frameworks, and agent capabilities such as MCP, cross-platform tool use, web browsing, and computer use.
 * Uphold technical discipline and operational excellence across AI products.
 * Iterate on AI products using performance metrics and user feedback to support continuous improvement.
 * Lead the evaluation and adoption of AI technologies and frameworks.
 * Partner with product managers and engineering teams to translate strategic goals into technical solutions and make AI capabilities easier to build on.
 * Collaborate with engineering leads to define and implement platform architecture that supports growth and scalability.
 * Evaluate and drive strategic business and technology decisions for our company and customers.
 * Provide technical leadership, education, best practices, and strategic guidance across multiple areas.
