Clearance All applicants for this position must possess a current Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret/SCI clearance; please note that the clearance process considers financial background aspects. ## Description The MIL Corporation seeks a Journeyman Systems Security Engineer (Security Engineering, Analyst) to support a federal government client at NAS Patuxent River in Patuxent River, MD. This position currently requires an on-site schedule and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. Responsibilities * Participate in identification of weapon system critical program information (CPI), and determination of consequence of compromise. * Conduct critical analysis and modeling on proposed architectures. * Document protective architectures. * Develop and advocate contractual requirements in support of developmental programs. * Facilitate evaluation of weapons system architectures for compliance to protection standards. * Coordinate with program, service, Joint and Department of Defense agencies to ensure system horizontal protection requirements are met. * Assist the Navy Verification & Validation (V&V) team with assessment of system designs and solutions. * Support program risk management, mitigation and reporting. * Communicate across the technical teams to share information, address issues, and accelerate pace of new development. * Serve as a Technical Review Board (TRB) member for systems technical events providing SSE expertise.
