This role is the go-to support contact for staff in fundraising, finance, events, and programs, as well as external grantees and partners. Reporting to the Director of Technology & Systems, this is a hands-on senior seat. A near-term priority is stabilizing OFM and the grantee portal. The Director owns architecture and roadmap, while this role owns build, administration, and support. WCN runs on its Salesforce platform. It's where donor gifts are tracked, grants are managed, and staff get their work done. This role keeps all of it working, so the team can focus on raising funds and getting them to conservationists in the field. Core Responsibilities Platform Administration * Provide general Salesforce administration across the org: user and license management, profiles and permission sets, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and everyday configuration * Serve as the front-line support contact for the platform's users - internal staff across fundraising, finance, events, and programs, and external grantee and partner users - triaging and resolving access issues, errors, and workflow questions within a defined turnaround standard * Keep the org healthy: sandbox and release management, managed-package updates, and monitoring across NPSP, Outbound Funds, and other installed packages and integrations Grants Portal & OFM Administration * Administer and configure the Salesforce Outbound Funds Module (OFM), including grant records, disbursement schedules, requirements and compliance tracking, impact reports, and approval processes * Own the grantee-facing granting portal experience: user access, application forms, submission workflows, and portal troubleshooting * Design, build, and maintain the flows and supporting logic across the grantmaking lifecycle, from application to impact reporting and manage OFM data model changes (objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, flows) * Own the stabilization of the Outbound Funds Module in close partnership with the Director of Technology & Systems - streamlining flows for efficiency and usability, clearing accumulated technical debt, and preparing the module for Phase II enhancements * Serve as the primary point of contact for Fund Managers, Fund Directors, grantees, and partners on portal access, submission errors, and questions Automation & Integration * Build advanced automation across the org by turning complex, multi-object business processes into flows (screen, record-triggered, and scheduled) that are reliable, easy to follow, and well documented * Debug complex automation and data issues across NPSP and Outbound Funds, tracing root causes rather than patching symptoms * Maintain and monitor the org's integrations, including the OFM-Sage Intacct connection between grant disbursement records and the general ledger * Partner with the Finance team to troubleshoot reconciliation discrepancies between Salesforce and Intacct Security and Access * Manage the org's security model - sharing rules, sharing sets, role hierarchy, and record-level access for both internal users and external portal users * Configure and review external and internal portal users including profiles, permission sets, and object permissions, following least-privilege principles * Apply field-level security to protect internal-only data and run periodic reviews and permission audits to ensure security Reporting and Compliance * Build and maintain reports and dashboards across the org, from revenue and donor reporting to outbound grant tracking * Support audit and compliance data pulls, including grant disbursements and international grantmaking * Monitor grant compliance deadlines and requirement fulfillment tracked in OFM Documentation & Collaboration * Document configuration, business rules, and standard operating procedures across the systems this role owns, starting with the OFM * Build and maintain user guides and training materials for internal staff and external grantee users * Partner with Programs and Finance to translate workflow needs into system configuration, and support onboarding of new grantee organizations * Track and prioritize an enhancement backlog and contribute to the roadmap -
