 * UI design;
 * Angular;
 * High-volume, asynchronous, observable, and high-availability distributed systems design;
 * Publish/Subscribe (Pub/Sub) based asynchronous messaging systems;
 * Queue based messaging systems including IBM MQ;
 * Relational databases including Sybase and IBM DB2;
 * Database change tracking and management tools including Liquibase;
 * Document-oriented databases including NoSQL and MongoDB;
 * Containerization tools including Docker;
 * CI/CD including Git and Jenkins;
 * Agile workflow including Scrum; and
 * Build tools and build automation including Gradle.

## Description

Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Director, Software Engineer in New York, New York to work on software development projects and coordinate feature testing, present evidence and proofs of concepts, acquire user signoffs on finished items, and present demo functionality to users. Create action items based on user queries and business requirements. Conduct requirement analysis on backlog items. Engage with business users on preferences, deadlines, and requirements. Participate in Scrum meetings (planning, standups, reviews and retrospectives). Develop and implement new features that adhere to Firm requirements using proprietary tools. Prepare, supervise, and conduct regular maintenance and/or out-of-cycle software releases. Provide application support on- and off-hours. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
