## About the Role

* General understanding of IT basics (e.g., networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing)
 * Ability to assess client needs and articulate the value propositions for managed services solutions
 * Demonstrated ability to prospect, generate new leads, and networking
 * Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiations, * 1-5 + years in B2B sales, preferably in technology or managed technology services
 * Prior experience selling MSP services, or IT consulting
 * Strong understanding of sales cycles - lead generation, prospecting, demos, negotiations, and closing deals
 * Excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities
 * The ability to engage with technical and non-technical team members
 * Develop and nurture long-term client relationships
 * Naturally curious and eager to take on new challenges
 * Ability to manage multiple client requests and to meet deadlines
 * Ability to work in dynamic environment

## Description

* Develop, track, and close sales leads through prospecting, leveraging your network, and gaining strategic partnerships
 * Identify client requirements including technical, infrastructure, configuration, and other requirements.
 * Collaborate with technical staff to generate proposals
 * Confidently present proposals to clients to engage interest in managed services
 * Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop informational seminars, marketing material, targeted campaigns, and qualified leads
 * Effectively qualify opportunities to determine scope of work
 * Leverage networking events, chambers, and groups to promote the brand and build long-lasting relationships
 * Proactive and independent self-starter with a "can do" attitude with minimal day-to-day guidance
 * 15% travel - local and domestic
