This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with deep Workday expertise who can independently own complex technical work from design through delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong Workday configuration and integration experience with custom software development skills in Java and/or Python. We are also looking for someone who embraces AI-assisted development and automation to improve engineering efficiency, accelerate delivery, and reduce manual processes., * Several years of hands-on Workday engineering experience, including ownership of complex solutions from design through implementation. * Strong production experience with Workday HCM configuration and integrations. * Hands-on experience designing and developing integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and web services. * Experience with Workday Extend and building custom applications on the Workday platform. * Strong problem-solving and technical judgment with the ability to independently recommend and implement solutions. * Ability to work effectively in an environment where requirements may initially be ambiguous or evolving. Preferred Qualifications * Hands-on software development experience with Java and/or Python, including delivering custom solutions end to end. * Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of day-to-day engineering workflows. * Demonstrated interest in applying AI and automation to improve development processes and eliminate repetitive work. * Experience integrating Workday with custom applications, APIs, or enterprise systems.
