## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
 * 5+ years' experience in a similar roles.
 * Experience of working with Electric Vehicles and High Voltage Systems.
 * Experience with UML / SysML.
 * Controls algorithm design experience using Mathworks and/or C++.
 * Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.) and associated development tools.
 * Experience in system verification and validation testing.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare technical documents and presentations.
 * Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
 * Knowledge of ISO 26262 and relevant SAE standards.
 * Experience with AUTOSAR and functional safety.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

 * Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
 * Expertise in vehicle supervisory controls development using C++ / MATLAB / Simulink.
 * Expertise in advanced diagnostics and prognostics.
 * Experience with Battery Management Systems.
 * Experience with Secured Gateway Modules.
 * Expertise in Vector software tools.

## Description

*
Develop requirements for various subsystems (Propulsion, Body, Chassis, Electrical and Safety), taking into consideration related regulations and standards.
*
Design/Develop system concepts and architectures.
*
Maintain traceability, of the system, to the requirements.
*
Perform DFMEAs.
*
Plan and execute testing and validation.

 * Lead technical reviews.
